Work on optimization for these extensions will be featured in upcoming drivers. They are reviewing all the hotspots in all aspects of their drivers. Support will be implemented where it makes sense to take advantage of the 3D-Now! and SIMD extensions.
We do know that A3D 3.0 will not support the DSP functionality of the AMD Athlon for MP3 decoding.
