By 'WDM ready', Aureal is referring to their hardware architecture and how it is suited for Microsoft’s WDM driver format, as well as their hardware acceleration of DirectSound and DirectSound 3D. We are in the process of developing and testing WDM drivers, but at this time, they are not available for end users. Aureal's goal is to have WDM drivers available for Windows 98 and Windows 2000 at the time that Windows 2000 arrives in stores. - Updated: November 29, 1999
