11. ERRORS: I am getting a Blue Screen with an error in VXD AU30CORE(01) after installing the latest Vortex 2 Reference Drivers. What can I do? - Top

If you have experienced a problem with the Vortex 2 2040 drivers causing blue screens in VXD AU30CORE(01) the problem may be that for some reason during installation of the drivers your irq steering was disabled. If you enabled it again and the problem should go away. Here is what you have to do:

Step 1: Go to your Windows Control Panel and select |System|

Step 2: From inside System Properties select the |Device Manager| tab and open |System Devices|

Step 3: Once in System Devices Select |PCI bus|

Step 4: From inside PCI Bus select the |IRQ Steering| tab and make sure that |Use IRQ Steering| is selected, then select ok and restart your system.
