SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 2000--RioPort Inc., a leading Internet music application service provider (ASP), today announced that Human Information Technology Co. Ltd. (HIT) will utilize RioPort's advanced technology solutions and software with its new cassette-type MP3 player, the C@MP CP-UF64, expected to launch in late July.

RioPort's Media Device Manager and RioPort Audio Manager jukebox software provide a common interoperable standard that allows users to seamlessly transfer music tracks in multiple file formats from the Internet for playback on their portable devices.

``We are pleased to include HIT and the unique C@MP player to our growing list of portable device partners who are utilizing RioPort's advanced digital audio solutions,'' said Anthony Schaller, senior vice president and chief technology officer at RioPort Inc.

A new concept of MP3 player, the C@MP CP-UF64 is a cassette-type device that works as either a stand-alone portable player or can be used with most home and auto cassette players. ``Incorporating RioPort's advanced Media Device Manager and the popular RioPort Audio Manger software to our C@MP MP3 player will deliver the most easy-to-use and innovative digital audio experience to our customers,'' said Doo Yeal Lee, chief executive officer at HIT Ltd.
