Fox Interactive Announces NOLF Contest

FOX INTERACTIVE TEAMS UP WITH INDIESPACE.COM OFFERING UNSIGNED BANDS THE CHANCE OF A LIFETIME

LOS ANGELES, September 15, 2000 -  Fox Interactive and Indiespace.com today asked the question, "Are you in a band that jams? Have you gotten that big break yet?" Fox Interactive and Indiespace.com are giving unsigned bands the chance of a lifetime. Lucky musicians 18 years old and over can upload MP3s, or mail in CDs of their original '60s inspired music. New and original '60s inspired music may be chosen for a special bonus disc for the worldwide release of Fox's PC CD-ROM game, No One Lives Forever.

About the No One Lives Forever Music Search:

  • Music must be uploaded before September 28th, or postmarked on or before September 25, 2000
  • Gamers will have the opportunity to provide feedback as to which group they like most
  • Music must be 1960's inspired and really groovy in that spy kind of way
  • Log onto www.indiespace.com or www.foxinteractive.com for additional information
  • Indiespace will screen all submissions, and Fox will choose the final tracks that will be distributed worldwide on the bonus CD available in the game No One Lives Forever.

"We are looking for bands that reflect the groovy sounds and feelings from the '60s. Every unsigned band is up for consideration, and we hope that gamers will take this opportunity to let us know which bands are their favorites," said Ivo Gerscovich, Promotions Manager at Fox Interactive. "This is a great opportunity for a small unknown band to be heard all over the world."

"Indiespace is all about providing more exposure for independent musicians," said Jeannie Novak, founder and CEO of Indiespace. "We're pleased that Fox Interactive has shown its support of the indie community by providing this unique opportunity for independent musicians to get their music heard by people all over the world."
