available through its Frameworks (TM), Total Integration Services(TM) offering.

The Montego II features a >97 dB signal-to-noise ratio; 18-bit
high-resolution converters; DirectSound and DirectSound3D acceleration (96 simultaneous
DirectSound audio streams); AC'97, PC '97, and PC '98 compatibility; support for legacy
DOS-based systems; 64 hardware-based wavetable voices, with an additional 256 voices
available via software synthesis (4MB upgradable sample set); A3D(TM) positional audio,
and a hardware-based, 10 band graphic equalizer. It also supports downloadable samples
(DLS) for custom audio patch playback. The Montego also ships with AudioStation® 32,
which integrates CD audio, MIDI, and digital audio management into a singular modular rack
interface. A retail version of the card, the Montego II Quadzilla, is expected to ship
this spring.
