Voyetra Turtle Beach Ships Two Digital Music Products

SonicLink(TM) and AudioStation® Remote Now Reaching Stores

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 2000-- Voyetra Turtle Beach, Inc., a leading manufacturer of PC-based audio software and hardware, today unveiled two new products: SonicLink(TM) and AudioStation® Remote. Both are now available from major computer and electronics retailers.

AudioStation Remote ($59.95 estimated street price) is the first software-based digital music ``jukebox'' to include the convenience of a universal RF remote control. By using the remote with the included Voyetra AudioStation software, users can run their PC just like any other home stereo component. With the ability to transmit through walls and ceilings, the RF remote allows the user to control MP3 and WMA digital music files from up to 100 feet away. The remote also doubles as a universal controller for CD players, DVD players, TVs, and other media devices, as well as optional home automation devices.

The easy-to-set-up SonicLink ($129.95 estimated street price) includes everything digital music enthusiasts need to play MP3 and WMA audio files anywhere in their home. Users simply play digital music on their computers using AudioStation 4.0 software, which outputs the signal to a RF transmitter (2.4 GHz). The corresponding RF receiver -- which can be plugged into a home stereo or set of powered speakers using standard RCA and 1/8`` mini-jack connectors -- receives the music ''broadcast`` from any room in the house, or even outside. The included RF universal remote permits control of the playback from up to 100 feet away, and includes support for controlling CD players, DVD players, TVs, and more.

A free version of AudioStation can also be downloaded separately from http://www.voyetra.com.

As announced last spring, Voyetra Turtle Beach is also planning to ship its high-end AudioTron(TM) ($299 estimate street price) home-networked digital music appliance in December 2000. More information is available at http://www.audiotron.net.

Voyetra Turtle Beach is one of the world's leading PC audio solutions providers, working with more than 150 leading manufacturers, distributors, and retailers.
