Surround Sound Technology for the Broadband Industry Developed by Internet Cable Corporation in Partnership With Indigo Manufacturing Inc.

Joint Project Reflects Company's Focus on New Product Innovation

MARKHAM Ontario, Canada--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 8, 2001-- Internet Cable Corporation (ICC), (OTC BB:ICBL - news), a provider of broadband technology solutions, leading edge broadband training, diagnostic software products and innovative technologies today announced the company's intention to partner with Indigo Manufacturing Inc. to market BASH® audio technology to the broadband industry.

In a letter of intent the two companies have agreed to co-develop a version of the already successful BASH® technology to deliver high fidelity surround sound to the broadband industry. This will enable cable operators to expand their product offering to their subscribers.

The worldwide trend for home entertainment continues to grow at a dramatic pace as cable operators offer more and more digital services on their broadband networks. Digital video quality greatly exceeds subscriber's expectations however the audio component often leaves the subscriber disappointed. Although digital audio is being delivered to the home through the broadband network, when converted back to analog and played through 4 inch television speakers the audio realism is completely lost. To make matters worse, many television sets still deliver audio in mono.

The proven BASH® technology will deliver to digital subscribers full, rich, surround sound in the THX® and Dolby(TM) standards commonly used in theaters. The premium offering will provide six speakers including a sub woofer to bring the realism of crackling thunder or the roar of a lion directly into the living room. Also, the system will deliver unsurpassed high frequency audio to replicate the highest pitch sung by a soprano voice without the background hiss normally associated with analog stereo systems.

Commenting on the agreement, Joseph Melanson, Chairman and CEO of Internet Cable Corporation, states, ``This is a win, win, win situation. For a modest monthly fee, cable subscribers will enjoy the theater experience of surround sound without the need to purchase a system. The cable operators win in two ways; by expanding their offering to include enhanced audio, their revenues will grow significantly. Secondly, because the subscriber's enjoyment level is increased, more subscribers will order pay-per-view and premium channels instead of going to the theater. As BASH® technology is adopted as the standard for home broadband audio, our shareholder value increases as does that of our partner Indigo Manufacturing Inc.''

The patented BASH® amplifier technology coupled with patent pending PDC(TM) power supply technology allows for the production of a product that produces superb quality audio at a price point unmatched in the industry. Paul Tennyson, President of Indigo Manufacturing Inc. states, ``Indigo's BASH® technology uses a patented approach to high efficiency amplification that offers an unrivalled combination of power, performance, and cost advantages. Our technological offering is ideally suited to this application. Indigo has been very successful in the audio and power supply markets and has shipped well over one million BASH® amplifiers over the last few years. Our new PDC(TM) technology is proving to be every bit as significant and will contribute to the success of this innovative product offering.''

BASH® and PDC(TM) are registered trademarks of Indigo Manufacturing Inc. THX® is a registered trademark of Lucas Film Ltd. Dolby® is a registered trademark of Dolby Laboratories, Inc.
