3, 2002 -- The VST version of Spektral plug-in collection released.
Spektral plug-ins contains three DSP plug-ins, available in DirectX
media and VST PC formats for use in the hosts such as Sound Forge v5
and Cool Edit Pro v2, Sonar v2, Nuendo v1.5, Wavelab v4, Cubase v5.1,
Fruity Loops v3 and Logic Audio v5.
Featured in this package of audio processing plug-ins are: Spektral Shaper - an FFT based 4096-band equalizer-like effect, which affects only magnitudes (i.e. no phase change). The purpose of this plugin is the ability to capture a preset from another wave file and apply it to your sample. That is, to apply a 4096 bands equalizer setting from a captured sample to yours. You are able to draw / modify presets with pencil, smoothing or sharpening tools. Spectral eXtractor - an adaptive, self-tuning bandpass filter following the center frequency with controllable asymmetric band curve and shape. The plugin determines time variable center frequency with different processing modes: manual, centroid and dominant and allows user change concentration of spectral energy around that center frequency. Spektral Morpher - a plug-in that allows you to
completely alter the Source sample according to another, loaded
(Target) sample with different transformation modes: different cross
synth, and linear morph between 2 samples. There 10 "morph"
modes available: Convolution, Magnitude only convolution, Vocode
effect and 7 mutation modes: Uniform signed / unsigned, Linear contour
mutation, Nonlinear Contour (Irregular) signed / unsigned System Requirements: CPU: 500Mhz (800Mhz highly recommended), 128Mb, Windows 9x/NT/2000/XP, DirectX Media Runtime 6.0 or later. Both DX media and VST demo version is available for download. The Spektral plug-ins pack is offered at a price of $55 online ordering only (both DX and VST versions). The Special offer for 2 bundle buyers: Sound Designers + Spektral packs are $75 only. You saves 30%. For more information, visit their web site at www.delaydots.com.
