-- Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. unveiled
new projection televisions, speakers and
home theater systems today at the Custom
Electronic Design & Installation
Association (CEDIA) Expo at the Minneapolis
Convention Center. Most of the new products
carry the Pioneer Elite brand name,
recognized for its commitment to excellence
in audio and video technology. Pioneer's
Elite products are sold only through

-- A demonstration of Microsoft's Windows Media Audio Pro and Windows
Media Series 9 technology.
-- The revolutionary new Pioneer Digital Sound Projector. This single
speaker with 254 drivers creates the illusion of multi-channel sound
that previously required numerous speakers placed throughout a room.
-- Reference big-screen projection televisions with an enhanced lens
system for superb picture quality. The widescreen projection
televisions, available in 53-, 58- and 64-inch screen sizes, offer
digital connectivity through a DVI port.
-- The first-ever home theater system under the Elite brand. In addition
to a DVD-Audio/SACD Multi DVD player, the system is the first home
theater product to make use of the organic electroluminescent display
technology.
