| 11.03.2003 At this year's CeBIT, TerraTec is set to unveil a sonic treat sure to sound sweet to even the most discerning ears: With the HomeArena TXR 665, the Nettetal-based multimedia vendor aims to turn every computer into a powerhouse Surround sound system and home theater for movies and games. But the 5.1 speaker system is more than merely a compact, stylish Surround sound solution; it also handles the multi-channel audio formats DVD, DTS, Dolby Digital, and Dolby Per Logic. The system will be available from May. A powerful 5.1 speaker system, the HomeArena TXR 665 reproduces the fascinating sonic images of Surround sound with astonishing accuracy. Jaw-dropping sound effects in movies and the latest games are rendered with authority and aplomb, as are listeners' favorite tracks. Flow-optimized bass reflex ports, painstakingly fine-tuned amp circuitry, and perfectly matched satellite speakers act in concert to deliver a mighty low-end punch and precise, musical response. The front panel sports dedicated level controls for master volume, center, effect speakers, and subwoofers, making it easy to tweak the system's impressive sound and 65 watts RMS output to suit every listening situation.
