showcase their first DVD Home Theater system at the company's Dealer Line Show. Toshiba's
model SD-43HT is a slim design, integrated DVD and receiver unit with Digital Cinema
Progressive Scan, multi-channel amplification, packaged with five satellite speakers and
an 8" subwoofer. The SD-43HT offers a variety of features that will turn the living room into an advanced home theater. The integrated DVD player/receiver features ColorStream Pro® progressive scan output for amazing film-like reproduction of DVD movies. Optimizing the listening experience, the unit includes Dolby Digital®, DTS® and Dolby Pro Logic II processing, in addition to 3 DSP modes, WMA and MP3 playback. The model is further enhanced with the component and S-video outputs for comprehensive connectivity, as well as an optical digital input and 2 analog A/V inputs to support additional products such as DSS or cable. The SD-43HT boasts 6-channel amplification (50W x 5 and a 70W subwoofer) for an enveloping surround sound experience in a single package. The color-coded connections add convenience and make set-up a snap.
