| SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov.

The SAM9777 IC delivers up to 64 streaming audio voices at up to 48 KHz sampling frequency. Interactive full bandwith sound positioning on two to six speakers means no fake occasional 3D effects -- only realistic, true surround sound. It also provides full DOS legacy support. The high flexibility based on a fully programmable DSP, scalable designs from single AC-97 CODEC to eight channels audio in / six channels audio out, facilitates customized PC audio solutions for developers. Designed for motherboard, notebook and add-on card applications, the SAM9777 supports 3.3V or 5V PCI and PPMI power management.
