today announced that its Apollo Expert DVDer(TM) real-time MPEG-2 encoding solution is now
available bundled with Spruce Technologies' DVDVirtuoso(TM) value-added software. The DVDVirtuoso bundle offers extensive interactive features for users who have sophisticated DVD authoring needs. ``While our Apollo Expert DVDer works great for the majority of our customers, some require the features offered by DVDVirtuoso,'' said Dr. Ash Pahwa, DV Studio chief executive officer. ``Now our customers have a choice of prices and features.'' The bundle runs under Windows NT 4.0 and is available for $2,995 MSRP. A special upgrade is also available for current Apollo Expert DVDer users. A Software Developers Kit is available for OEM customers who want to tailor the Apollo Expert DVDer for specialized applications.
