Introduction

Click to view a larger image of the 3025A little known company in the US, Diamond Audio Technology, Inc. are the people that designed, engineered and manufactured the widely acclaimed S2 4100 and S2 4030 systems for MidiLand. The company was formed in July 1995 by a concert producer and three pro audio engineers with a mission to design, engineer, manufacture and market the highest quality audio solutions for the vast multimedia/home theatre and automobile markets. Their vision encompassed innovation, design, craftsmanship, integrity, performance and value. Judging by the attention to detail in their latest products, it would seem that they continue to uphold those ideals.

Their corporate headquarters and warehouse, established of course in 1995, is located in Santa Monica, California. In September 1995, Diamond Audio Asia Limited was established in a 10,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Guangzhou, China. In December 1997, it moved into a 65,000 square foot facility located in a new high technology industrial park in Guangzhou, China, where it currently employs over 750 engineers, professionals and manufacturing work force. In December 1998, it opened a branch sales and support office outside of Cambridge, England, to distribute to and service the growing European multimedia and automotive markets. Diamond Audio’s new multimedia product line, introduced at COMDEX ’99, goes under the name Pro Media. There are currently three models - the 2-piece 2010 system for $29.99, a second two-piece system (2012) for $39.99 and the current flagship of the line, the three-price 3025 system which goes for the affordable Manufactures List Price of $79.99 (but is currently on sale for only $69.99). What’s all the more impressive about the entire Pro Media line is Diamond Audio’s unique "Peace of Mind Guarantee". If, within 60 days, you can find a system that you believe is superior to the Pro Media system at up to 125% of the price you paid for Diamond Audio’s product, you get to return their system and they will refund your purchase price and shipping costs. When you consider that 125 percent of the list price puts the 3025 up against $100 multimedia systems from companies like Cambridge SoundWorks, Boston Acoustics, and even their old partners over at MidiLand, it shows that Diamond Audio is quite confident in their product line! In this review we will take a close listen to the Diamond Audio Pro Media 3025 to see how well it lives up to the advance billing when it comes to listening to music, playing games and even listening to DVD movies.

So on to detailed overview and installation
